Go to the Inbox tab in the platform and click "Connect Gmail." You'll be redirected to Google's OAuth consent screen — sign in with your Google account and approve the requested permissions. This grants EconSquad AI access to your inbox, calendar, and optionally Google Tasks. You can disconnect at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

Navigate to the My Squad tab, find the specialist you need (e.g., Riley the Grant Writer), and click "Deploy." You'll see a brief form asking for the relevant details (grant name, funder, deadline, community context, etc.). Fill in the brief and click Submit — ARIA will generate your output, which will appear in your History tab within moments.

ARIA is your AI assistant built into EconSquad AI. She monitors your platform usage, tracks time saved, and sends you proactive alerts and insights — like letting you know when a grant deadline is approaching or when you've crossed a productivity milestone. You can also chat with ARIA directly on the Home tab to ask questions about your work, get platform help, or brainstorm ideas.

Yes! EconSquad AI offers a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. You get full access to all Starter plan features during the trial. At the end of the 7 days, you can choose to subscribe or your account will transition to a read-only state — your data and history are preserved.

Go to the Billing tab inside the app and click "Manage Billing." This opens Stripe's secure customer portal where you can cancel, update your payment method, or download invoices. Riley drafts a complete grant narrative following best practices for economic development funding — including compelling need statements, outcome metrics, and funder-aligned language. Review and refine the output in your History tab before submission.

Yes. All specialist outputs are saved to your History tab, where you can view the full output, copy it to your clipboard, and use the content however you need — in Word docs, grant portals, emails, reports, or other platforms. We always recommend reviewing AI-generated content before use. For iterative drafts, you can deploy a specialist multiple times with different inputs.

Navigate to the Tasks tab and click "↻ Google Tasks" to trigger a manual sync. If you've already connected your Google account, tasks sync automatically each time you log in. Google Task sync requires the same Google OAuth connection used for Gmail — if you haven't connected Google yet, go to the Inbox tab first.

The My Stats tab features ARIA's personalized ROI analysis based on your actual platform usage. It shows: total time saved (hours), projected annual time savings, estimated dollar value of time recovered, missions run by specialist type, and your streak and engagement data. ARIA also provides written insights — observations about your usage patterns and recommendations for getting even more value from the platform.

Yes. All mission outputs are saved in your History tab. Click any entry to expand the full output and copy it to your clipboard. You can then paste into Word, Google Docs, your grants management system, or any other tool. If you need a full data export of your account history, contact [email protected].

The Squad Affiliate Program lets any active EconSquad AI subscriber earn commissions by referring other economic developers to the platform. Once approved, you become part of the Squad and get a unique referral link to share. For every person who signs up through your link and becomes a paying subscriber, you earn 10% of their monthly subscription fee — every month they stay subscribed.

Any active EconSquad AI subscriber can apply to become a Squad Affiliate. We review all applications within 2 business days and notify you by email once approved. To apply, sign in to your account, click your avatar in the top right, and select Squad Affiliate Program.

You earn 10% of each referred subscriber's monthly fee for as long as they remain a paying customer. On top of recurring commissions, you unlock one-time milestone bonuses as your referral count grows:

If they convert to a paid plan, you start earning commissions from that month forward. Your Partner dashboard (in your profile menu) shows every referral, their conversion status, and your commission history in real time.

Commissions are calculated monthly and paid out by the 15th of the following month. We support two payout methods:

PayPal — Sent directly to your PayPal email address.
Direct Deposit (ACH) — Deposited to your bank account. We'll contact you after approval to collect ACH details securely.
